Robust H2 switching gain-scheduled controller design for switched uncertain LPV systems

In this article, a new approach is proposed to design robust switching gain-scheduled dynamic output feedback control for switched uncertain continuous-time linear parameter varying (LPV) systems. The proposed robust switching gain-scheduled controllers are robustly designed so that the stability and H2-gain performance of the switched closed-loop uncertain LPV system can be guaranteed even und...

H Control of Uncertain Switched Delay Systems Using Multiple Lyapunov Functions

This paper investigates the robust ∞ H control problem for a class of uncertain switched delay systems that involve parameter uncertainties and unknown nonlinear disturbances. Based on the multiple Lyapunov functions method, a sufficient condition for the solvability of the robust ∞ H control problem is derived by employing a hysteresis switching law and variable structure controllers. When the...

Analysis of a Supervised Set-Point Control Containing a Compact Continuum of Finite-Dimensional Linear Controllers

A simple analysis is given of the behavior of a set-point control system consisting of a poorly modelled process, an integrator and a multi-controller supervised by an estimator-based algorithm employing dwell-time switching. For a slowly switched multi-controller implementation of a compact continuum of finite-dimensional linear controllers, bounds are derived for the normed-value of the proce...

Tensor Product Model Transformation Based Adaptive Integral-Sliding Mode Controller: Equivalent Control Method

This paper proposes new methodologies for the design of adaptive integral-sliding mode control. A tensor product model transformation based adaptive integral-sliding mode control law with respect to uncertainties and perturbations is studied, while upper bounds on the perturbations and uncertainties are assumed to be unknown. The advantage of proposed controllers consists in having a dynamical ...

L1 Adaptive Controller for Nonlinear Systems in the Presence of Unmodelled Dynamics: Part II

This paper presents a novel adaptive control methodology for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems in the presence of unmodelled dynamics. The adaptive controller ensures uniformly bounded transient response for system’s both input and output signals simultaneously. The performance bounds can be systematically improved by increasing the adaptation gain.
